Smile Two Turbos, Two BoVs?

Hey everyone, G35 '04 5AT Coupe with Greddy kit on stock boost.

My current Tial BOV blows off 75% of my pressure, and the other 25% seems to compress therw my right turbo (sitting at the cockpit)

My buddy on the G forums has 3 HKS SSQV BOV's, granted thats stupid and SRT-4ish IMO, I really hate the sound of Compression surge, and honestly the thought of it.

Does anyone have more than one BOV here? I'm not really sure on how the work on sticks because I've never had a stick boosted, but I have a plenum tap that goes down to my BOV before the MAF sensor after the intercooler.

Would putting one before my intercooler stop all this? Do I still tap it from the plenum? Am I an idiot for running a stock plenum with no spacer (my kinetix burst... i know i know shouldn't have bought it) should I replace that yesterday?

If anything tho I think the Tial and the HKS would sound sick going off together =D

Thanks in advance! Cheers

You shouldn't be getting any surge with that Tial BoV on your setup. As long as you have it mounted pre-MAF it should be fine. Perhaps you should adjust the actuator on it to see if that will fix the flutter. I really doubt it's compressor surge.

At stock boost, one should be more than enough. Try adjusting it, as Taurran suggested. I wouldnt even consider a larger BOV, or two of them...until you are running about 15psi +.

The tial uses different strength springs. The tial is a pretty beefy wastegate, so even with the stiff spring, you"might" have some light boost/part throttle surging.

I had some surge issues with my Greddy TT with one BOV on the outlet side of the IC. I added two more on the other side and all has been good since.

Yeah it's loud!

One was not enough and two was just right but I didn't want to have a big ugly patch in my intake pipe so I just added two and kept the third for looks.

I have a 9PSI spring, but only running 5 pounds. You can only adjust with the springs, I love the Tial BOV, I think adding an HKS would be cool, and would get rid of the trapt air in my 2nd turbo, as long as its not going to stall me or something .

The more you add the quieter it gets I think. Having recently checked out/driven eagles dual BOV set-up they are QUIET compared to my 1 RFL...
