Default jwt lag?

Looking to put a jwt on and would like to know if there is a problem with lag or pushing the power on gradually in a turn. Like to here from anyone who has tracked their jwt. Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure which one to go with however, it would be nice to leave the vetts in my wake for once.

The 700bb turbo setup on my G feels like it came from the factory, you can hear them spooling around 2800 rpm. If you want to out run the ZO6 Vettes, I hope you are not planning on putting the 700BB on a stock motor
The JWT 700bb turbo must be good because Sharif/Forged Performance has removed his GReddy and has installed the 700BB.

No noticable lag. When we straped are prototype intake manifold on the kit it spooled so quick i almost dropped my jaw on the ground.Anyways, the kit is around 7k with spilt second ems and fuel pump. It takes about 20 hours to install so i would say 9 to 10k depending on the shop.If you have a stock engine i would go with the 530 kit its much safer. But i have seen the 700bb kit running just over 500whp on a stock motor but it doesn't last to long.About three months.

If you would like more info pm me

Yes, these kits are great, the 530BB, the 700BB, and now the 850BB. We have installed well over 100 of the 530BB kits alone, not too mention the 700's and now the second set of 850's.

Whats up Scott ?

I know the performance feel between the 530 and the 700....but what difference do you notice between the 700 and the 850. I know the 850 can build more power....I am talking more about lag.....daily drivability and so on

Great question, and good point.

IMO, the 850 kit is a bit too big and laggy so far for a roadcourse track car. For a freeway racer or a drag racer the 850's are the ultimate, though just a bit too much lag to be at all practical.

We are still working with JWT on some custom cam profiles and some other things to get a more usable powerband for our purposes, so stay tuned.

So far my favorite kit for all purposes is the 700BB kit (built motor of course)

I dont know about Scott, but I really like the 850's over the 700 on the track, they are so easy to drive fast and do pull harder up top. I never found myself out of the power band when I drove it at Barber. If you drag then these turbos are what your looking for, 11.6 @ 123 on wastegate springs (boost controller off) with a 1.99 60ft. In Jan when I get back we are going up to 23 psi on thses turbos.
