The artical stated if you needed fuel for 400whp , you need to supply fuel for 500-525whp due to parasitic lose . When I ever get around to getting mine finished , we'll see if I start maxing it out also .

Sentry, what year fuel assembly did you replace yours with? I think I replaced mine with a 04. Do the 06, 07 Zs use the same fuel assmebly or a compatible one. Id buy one and try it if you think its worth a shot.

i have never seen any variances that would explain the issues we are seeing..but anyone have anything to add?

I'm really not sure what year my pump assembly is for. GTM picked one up at the nissan dealership when I was there. I'm not even sure if there is anything different about it from year to year. There might not be any difference at all. It's just a weird coincedence that both of us have aug 02 build dates and have the same sorta problem so it's a little suspicious

Fuel presure shouldnt rise because a fuel injector is maxed out...I wouldnt think anyway

The injectors would have nothing to do with rising pressure because the pump just supplies a given volume of fuel and the restriction in the return line (FPR) is the only thing that will raise the pressure. What ever given volume won't flow through the injectors when you max them out will simply go out through the FPR and return to tank.
A pressure drop is most likely from not enough fuel being flowed by the pump. or a restriction in the supply line.
I'm hoping that I don't run into to issues with this on my supercharger setup.

No, my fuel pressure takes a dive but my a/f is still in the low to mid 11's. I've always wondered about giving up on Vortech and going with turbos. This is really plenty of usable power for me. Im very happy with it. If you guys have a good tuner and a vortech kit, slap on the 2.87 pulley. Huge difference.

yeah each pulley step up is a big deal change because it not only increases the overall power, but also makes it come on about 500 rpms sooner than before. After the 2.87 you can get the 34 tooth rear cog pulley and take it up even another step, but belt slip and fuel are going to be the issues to work out
I laugh every time I read about guys running a stock vortech with the 3.33 pulley then say it's just not powerful enough and switch to turbos. They didn't even give the kit a chance to show what it can do.
