Default vortech not boosting pass 3psi

i have an 06, and it wont pass 3p of boost, the belt squeaks alittle when i start it cold, for about 45 sec. can the belt be to loose? i tapped the boost gauge to the same line that goes to the fmu and bpv, would that be a problem? i checked the the i/c pipping and made sure that they were all tight.

belt is too loose, it needs to be super tight, like a guitar string

As long as you have a good vacuum source to it I would think its alright . Tighten up that belt a bunch and again in a couple hundred miles

Yeah the belt shouldn't squeal upon start up. If it does, then it's loose.
