I don't think many have bothered to upgrade the UP pipe on the hot side. If you look at how it is designed you would realize that it is probably a bigger issue than the downpipe. On the kit, it has two 2" crossover pipes merging into a single 2" pipe. We took this into consideration on my build and hopefully it will show when we finally get results.

As far as the particular car you're talking about... it wasn't a simple bottleneck. The car actually made less power than a stock turbonetics kit on a stock car. There was something else wrong with that whole picture.

Hmmmm. Not sure what was up with that build. I know that they worked on it for a while and last I heard were at a stand still... Hopefully it gets resolved.

Anyway, I'm still eager to see what happens with your car. I know that you and JT took a lot of time and consideration when planning out the build - but that unforeseen issues have come up. It seems that between delays on the release for my project, and hiccups on yours - we're going to be into the late fall/winter months before we can talk about accessible ST setups making big power. Although I do know of another project/build in progress that looks promising Different setup, but still ST.

^ that was the biggest joke of a upgrade i have ever hear... its been almost 2 years of "trials"... they didn't do chit.

Take the cosworth plenum+ all of these big projects that have taken several months and they dont even equal the time that the TN stage 2 upgrade has consumed

Thank god I dont! No company has prolonged development or release of a product for 2+ years on this board. But since your there resident "promoter" I guess you know everything

Sorry to barge in but I forgot if I am going to have to upgrade my WG also. I am trying to also hit 500whp. I have everything on my sig already done. I am currently getting fcon, cjm fuel, and hks evc, water cooled turbo, and wanted to know if I should upgrade the wg also.

No offsense, but you asking the "beaten like a dead horse" question of "where's stage two?" is just asking for an ensuing argument. If you really want to hear all sides of that, try searching.

Right. It's not. Fitting a big turbo is the first problem. There's not much room in there...
