Yes, while the transmission makes for ugly dyno graphs, the converter is designed to stay in it's peak efficiency range the majority of the way down the track.

Hence, one of the reasons why autos are inherently faster for drag racing.

What an enigma the IP 350z is... Everything is standard OEM Nissan parts... nothing special... and it runs low nines almost out of the box... of course that thousand horsepower engine probably helps a bit...

I have a feeling that deep down your Z is an exceptionally well thought out race car with a lot of planning... and work... and that the engineering of the important things that matter the most is done very precisely... with a lot of thought.

It seems like you have come out of nowhere... But, I'm sure you have been at this for quite a while... again, congratulations!

No offense, but what the hell are you talking about? The motor is no where near stock, the trans is not even Nissan, the suspension has been upgraded as well. The only thing OEM that relates to the 1/4 times is the LSD and maybe the driveshaft, I'm not sure if they needed a new one or not.

Unless you are joking around, then my apologies .

Glad to see you guys keeping it relatively "streetable" and NOT looking like a funny car.
