Engine problems, need help,plz....
new engine spec.
arias 8.5:1 CP
eagle rods
L19 studs
jwt s2 cam
cometics 0.06' headgasket.( i know it will drop my CP,)
1.white smoke (steam??)coming from passanger side and i found water stain between head and block.
2.driver side 2.4.6 cylinders are not running.....er.i checked sparkplugs, coils, they are all in working condtions....but the cylinder just not fire up....
im using greddy spark plugs and smell gasonline in the cylinders so i assume that rc 650cc injectors are working.fuel pressure are fine at 45psi.when i start the car and let it run a few minutes that passanger side turbo is hot but driver side turbo is cold..
can anyone help me out...
share some pics of my car when its alive

did you verify spark or just look at the plug visually?
If you know it makes spark and you have fuel you better take the head off and take a peak. I assume you don't hear any death rattle.
The other side, with the water, head lift/blown gasket/crack or warped head.
compression check would be nice but I am worried about doing more damage.
Are you sure you are getting fuel to both sides of the motor?.....that would be the most logical cause......

Did you put the motor back together your self ? Steam coming from the passenger side ...sounds like a head that wasnt trq.ed . No cyl. firing on the drivers side ....sounds like the cam wasnt installed right . Just a guess of course .
you could crank the engine by hand and tell if there is compression happening. it will spin like butter (about 30-40lbs tq) if there is no compression happening. if you varified spark and fuel, not much else outside of that. it only takes fuel, spark and compression to run or fire.
OK ...246 cylinders are working now...i make some mistakes when i wiring the coil harness..
the smoke is not coming out anymore..but i hear a little noise coming from the passanger side vavle cover...

smoke - you mean from the passenger side exhaust. If one bank of cylinders wasn't firing then you'd have a whole bunch of unburnt fuel vapor coming out... not sure this is what you mean though.

i took the cover off and checked all the gap today.
its all within the spec...and torque range for the l19 studs are 94-96lbs,i think thats good...should i retorque more...????like 100lbs?
first time when i run the car, there were white steam and i found a little milky water stain at oil cap.but today when i took off the vavle cover,no milky oil in the cylinder head..but where does that smoke coming from?????
and i checked the coolant, its clean too.
