Default Best way to sell Built 350ZTT...

Ok...I bought an amazing 350ZTT earlier this year and after someone broke into my car costing me 3k...then blowing the A/C line 2 times due to not having a heat shielded one $1,400...tires $1,600...blown exhaust manifold gasket (guys who broke into my car thought they'd unbolt the turbo kit...smart huh) $1,200, and three trips to the shop to find a loose exhaust hanger (man i felt stupid). I definitly rode the last nerve of my fiance...she's not forcing me to get rid of it but i've come across an amazing deal on a fully built NSX that I've always dreamed of having...it's a "project" so i'd still have to put some money into it and I'd either have to sell my current race car...944 turbo (not going to happen without a replacement) or get rid of the Z and drive my truck while i finish the NSX...anyway, wanted to know what the best way to sell a fully built 350ZTT is? The car has a bullit proof SGP long block with all the upgraded trimmings, Tien suspension, Bride seats, 8k in custom cooling system, beefed up rear end to handle the 615whp on pump gas...this isn't an advertisement to sell, i just need advise on where you sell something this heavily modified...basically over 90k in parts and labor to build this car...have every invoice. let me know your opinion...ebay seems a waste, our board doesn't seem to get sales and too many "prospective" buyers...just didn't know if there was a better way to find a legit buyer.

parting it out , probably isnt an option for him . He bought it modded and doesnt have the stock parts to go back in . That wouldbe a huge PITA to find stock parts AND sell modded parts .

thats going to be real hard to sell for a reasonable price, considering all the mods that it has. Good luck with the sale though.

I think 35 cash in hand would take it...that's very reasonable

It's a tough sell, especially from a 2nd owner. It took us about 6 months to sell our shop 350Z, and it only had ~3000 miles and multiple major magazine coverage. Similar build as yours...loaded up w/ high end performance goodies from top to bottom. We ended up selling it by chance. A walk-in customer wanting to build up his '06 ends up buying it after a simple test-drive/ride. He would have ended up spending more money to build up his car while ours was in new condition and already complete.

Try Daniel at http://vipimports.com/

He might know someone in the market. Your price is very reasonable. What's the mileage?

You may even want to try your local performance shop.

selling a modded car is selling into a very selective niche. I didn't even read through your whole list of mods to gain an appreciation for what you did, but not everyone may agree. As others have stated, put an ad in one of the different online classifieds, or even a "FOR SALE" sticker on your car w/ a contact number (not one of those gaudy 6x6in signs, but an actual sticker w/ contact number on your window)
