yeah it really doesnt matter what has happened at all before. the thing is i just drove the car on the street for the first time and all i can say is HOLY ****!!
this car pulls like no other VQ i have ever driven, once it hits 5000 its over and pulls all the way. the S7 cams are a great design and well recommended for future rev up owners.
car is all clean now and ready to be safely driven at the boost levels i have programed in there

i just wanted to boost controller to be maintenance free so he doesnt have to touch it. i just dont want any over boosting due to the boost controller.
i am not a fan of the auto at all but it does boost the same boost levels pretty much with any weather..
i have a few cars with them in there around here

here is the gist:
- the kid took the car when they advised against it (again: proof - written on documentation)
- they did not build or install either of the prior iterations of the engine setup, only tuned the second
- they advised him against the using the UTEC unit he had (customer brought in used)
- declined to wait to get tuned and took car
- race gas in the engine somehow
- boost controller shows really high boost levels that the car was not tuned for
- they explicitly told him (and documented) that he was to get the car tuned and not drive it hard until then)
and he made a good point (for any shop's defence) if a customer wants to take a car, no matter what you say to them, it's THIER car and if they want it, you have to give it back.
