the guys at CarV2 that i talked to were mad cool, they did a good job on the car and i have nothing bad to say. only issue was letting the car go "untuned".

the ultimate price was paid for it and everything is worked out now.

Go back and read the OP. Nowhere did anyone say anything about another shop. JT said the car made it 50 miles. He didn't say who/what/when where/why. Why? Because he doesn't know and he prob. doesn't care. All he knows is he has to build the guy a motor and get his car to run. Now, all the speculations started running rampant when someone came in and started going "it wasn't me, it wasn't me". Now everyone wants to dig into things that have nothing to do with them. Why? I haven't a clue. Why can't this guy get his car, enjoy it, and everyone be happy for him? Is everyone that immature? Seriously.

Car is sweet everything was good but the tranny locked up in 3rd gear .. towed to Infiniti & "they say" there is less than a quart of tranny fluid in there and its all black... no warranty so now im beat once again

 

Wow sorry to hear about our bad luck man!! Hopefully you can get it all fixed and enjoy your car soon.

 

We have brand new trannies, and slightly used ones here, if you need one...just let us know. Prices will be a heck of a lot less than the dealership.

 

that is total BS. they always try to make an excuse not to fix stuff. there was 100% 3.75 quarts of Redline 75w90 in that tranny. i just got off the phone with Sean and Infiniti is replacing it for him.

we ALWAYS make sure all the trannys are taken care of and fluid changed so we dont have any issues on our hands...


EVEN if there wasnt tranny fluid in there, the car has 9700 miles on it, it would be impossible for it to be black...

 

UPDATE: After much with the dealership it turns out that they actually were bsing & the trans WILL be replaced under warranty.


In June right before the car went to a shop i had a 101 point inspection done by Infiniti, luckily it was documented that 3rd gear & 5th had some grinding/ issues going into gear.

They had to order one (no not from Sharif) it wil be there Tues/Wed so I should have a fresh trans in there!!!! Very happy once again!! Cant wait to drive the beast next week!

 

What a bunch of dealer tools. At least it's getting fixed... I'm actually surprised after all your work that they were still willing to replace the tranny.

Oh well, glad to hear it's getting worked out.

Dealerships usually try to void warranties for anything..Thats good you got em by the nuts
