Default just got a V2 kit Q's about parts included

I just bought a v2 kit used from some guy and want to know what I actually have because he bought the kit with the car so he doesnt know anything about it. I basically would like some general info on the products, and if they came with the kit or are extra. I will post pics when I get some. any info would be appreciated.

the pulley says 28T on the back, how much boost is that making

It came with an in line fuel pump and fpr.

Bypass valve is blue and I saw it on the vortech site.

Spearco intercooler good size i think 36x12

the ECU is a black box with nothing on it but has a lot of wires coming out.

also I have been looking around and it looks like the stuff in this kit will be making a lot of power, but he didnt give me any injectors I brought it up to him and he wasn't sure but if I wanted i could trade him, should i waste my time?

Also should I get a clutch. i have been getting mixed opinions

I really was not planning to buy one, but when I saw the deal, I had to get it. That is why I dont know anything about it.

What's the size of the pulley? 2.87, 3.13, 3.33. It would seem to be a 3.33.
Walbro 155 Fuel Pump?
Bypass is probably Vortechs

Split Second Fuel and Timing Box
He probably still has stock injectors, so no need to trade.

28T haha. 2.87, injectors will need to be upgraded, and the guy you bought the kit from most likely has larger injectors in there now. It'd be worth getting those from him.
No Part Number on the pulley?

thanks for the quick responses. How much boost does the pulley make? I also got a koyo it's the thick one because the fans are modified and a borla true dual. Is there anything else I should get (besides some stickies for the rear) Once again thanks for the help, What numbers should I be looking at

you are reading the 28t off of the cog pulley on the back. You need to read the pulley on the front, if it doesnt have markings then measure it with a ruler

if it measures 2.87 then it is ~11 psi, if its 3.12 then its ~9 psi and i dunno what the 3.33 puts out

^7psi. You may run into problems running the piping with the larger Koyo. Link to my cooling adventures.

The kit was previously installed by Zcar garage. they cut the fan where the piping would hit i think I'm in the clear

Just to clarify, I dont read the pulley with the teeth on it, but the one that the serpentine belt connects to. I was reading the vortech site and they were selling smaller pulleys for upboost and they looked like the one cog pulley connected to the back of the unit.

Take a Pic of it. It should say 2.87, 3.13,3.33 on it as well as the corresponding part numbers. Worst case scenario, measure it.

OK ..first - you have a Vortech supercharger..not a ATI Procharger supercharger .

The cog [toothed ] pulley on the blower it self has 28 teeth . Then there is the jackshaft that has a cog pulley on one side and a serp pulley on the other . What others want to know is , what serp pulley is on it . The stock Vortech pulley is 3.33 inches , then the 3.12 , then 2.87 . If your used kit came with only one pulley , it is more then likely the 3.33 stock pulley .

I hope you have a good shop that has done a F/I project on a Z or G before . Have fun enjoy !

ok I'm home I looked at the one that is on the bracket that connects to the one on the unit. It has 32 teeth measures 8cm in length or 3 1/8 inch in length (from the end of a tooth straight across to the end of another). It also has no markings on it. It is a dark purple and looks almost annodized. The one that is connected to the unit is the same and also has no markings on it not event the 28t ( I had someone look at it for me when I was at work)

you need to look at the one with the serpentine belt attatched to it. it should be a dark purple 6 rib pulley and its facing the front of the car.

That's a huge intercooler! I believe the spearco intercooler that comes with the vortech is more like somewhere around a 19x7.5x3.5 core. Just an approximation from eyeballing it but yours should be around that.
