The vortech won't, the nitrous will. I'm not saying it's not fast on boost, but the power delivery of just the blower itself isn't going to give you the kick that turbos will.

I would have to agree to this very much. You have to look at long term. Say you went TN, but then down the line the motor lets go. Then where will you be? You can go all day on this. But the best advice is to plan.

the turbonetics 60-1 should def. take care of your goal plus boost hits harder than a twin kit so its more of that "throw you in your seat feeling" you want

greddy or jwt twins... plenty of room to move up as you desire. the twin kits are a cleaner setup because they are more OEM style with minimized exhaust plumbing. i have seen greddy cars run for 2+ years now without needing any extra work.

Wow two years.

Well I Pm'ed Jeremy about a Vortech Setup. From the words of another member here. He recommended I take rides in some ST, TT and S/C 350s. I am working on a ride in a Vortech from a member close buy. I thought that was really cool thing for him to offer.
I have been doing more reading tonight on here. They all say the S/C feels like a N/A with lots of power.
They say the Turbo has more Tq and a real slam you back in the seat feeling. I know there a TT running around up some place. Would love to ride in it too.
I will be doing some talking with Jeremy.I have made my Vortech list. I am not sure about what A/F gauge. I have a 06. So I was looking at this

http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=70

Not sure if it will work. I know you FI guy's tell me.

Vortech doesnt really start feeling like a boosted car until you do a pulley swap. The pulley that comes with the kit is good for around 7psi, make your Z feel like an N/A car with a really reall nasty top end.

Don't get me wrong. I really like it. The simplicity of it makes it ideal. I know nothing is 100%. Even the Turbonetics has it's bugs.
The one thing I really like about the HKS GT Super charger, is the fact that you do not have to do the tap for the oil return.
There are just so many Pro's an Con's out there. I have seen where Turbonetics offers a water cooled setup.
I hope you are not expecting FI to be a install and forget it deal. If tapping into your oil pan is the deciding factor for what kit you get, you need to spend a month searching this forum and doing some research. FI requires time, patience and money. You are never done. BUT, its all worth it in the end

Well I have been talking with Jeremy. We both agree I need to ride in both a S/C an Turbo.
I am working on that. The kits I have decided to look at are:

1. Turbonetics
2. Vortech w/ a Upgraded 3.12 pully/belt.

Once I get those rides, I will have made up my mind for sure. I have Done LOTS of reading on here. There is allot on info and allot of opinions. I am not expecting something thats maintenance free. I just don't want it like my Watercraft " Ride in the weekend, rebuild during the week ".
