Exclamation FI dilemma

I have been toying with the idea of going FI. I have been looking at two kits.

1. Turbonetics
2. HKS New GT Super charger.

I want to be at about 380 RWHP. I am just looking for that thrown back in the seat feeling.
I would like just stick with the stock ECU. I know form reading Turbonetics is a re-flash. I was wonder if they adjust the Optimized the DBW?

Now you have to understand I am a min of 7 hours for any shop that has a clue. So I am looking for something reliable. I did a search for Turbonetics. It seems there is one person with the same setup I am looking at with over 50,000 miles on it. Quite impressive.
Now since the new HKS GT Super charger is out there is not much info on it. I did read a good article in Import tuner about it. They offer a pro kit.

Well to sum up things I am looking for input on which route to go.

Thanks,

C

IMHO go with turbonetics since your power goal is less than 400whp, but trust me someday you will be boost happy and want more power if that's the case go with Twins.

Yeaa I know, but when that days comes I hope to have the GTR. From my reading there are lots of turbonetics out there. Some making 450+ RWHP.

Have you considered the JWT kits?? I just went FI with the JWT TT kit. $9K + install. I am very happy with the power increase, and with this kit the stock ECU is used. The Split Second box is used for engine management and is not user adjustable. I am running 6-7 psi boost. This will give long engine life AND wuppass power!!!

I have thought of that, but here lately there seems to have been allot of Vortechs with bearing and impeller issues.
Don't get me wrong. I really like it. The simplicity of it makes it ideal. I know nothing is 100%. Even the Turbonetics has it's bugs.
The one thing I really like about the HKS GT Super charger, is the fact that you do not have to do the tap for the oil return.
There are just so many Pro's an Con's out there. I have seen where Turbonetics offers a water cooled setup.

If that's a requirement you definitely want a turbocharger, not a blower..
