I don't know if this is a repost let me know if it is . So i was at the grocery store today trying to buy some twinkies and while I was standin there I glanced over at the magazine rack and noticed a yellow 350z on the cover of Dsport Magazine with VRT in big BOLD letters on it. I started laughing and people looked at me funny but I bought the magazine anyways . here is a Link to the article.
you know whats funny.. when i first opened the article titled "VRT 350Z Thrives In Competition" i could have sworn i saw "VRT 350Z Thieves In Competition" .. what a difference it makes swapping the e and the r and the i... damn.. i guess it was wishfull thinking
That mag is a joke. And damn did VRT put a lift kit on that Z or wat??
The motor in the car is obviously not completely installed. For the pictures with the hood down the motor was not even in the car that is why the car is setting up so high. You can even see the sensor wires hanging down and the exhaust is too. The pics that were taken later when the motor was set in there, the intercooler couplers in the front do not even have any T-bolt/hose clamps on them The motor in the car for those pics was more than likely a stock core motor at the time. This cars regular motor was in Ed's (eagle1's) car for the USCC. If you look any closer you can also see rust on the brake calipers. The car was obviously not even running for that photo shoot, its so obvious. Haha. I am just shocked that nobody was/has been smart enough to see, or catch that.
Yeah, I have this issue, which was last month's. That store you just shopped in needs to keep updated. Melyssa Grace, the model with the Z, is hot though.
That is just sick... I can't believe the photos in that article... Seriously, you can see the exhaust hanging, the IC pipes are definitely not hooked up for use... I have to agree with WA2GOOD... that was soo freaking staged and the car was definitely NOT running at that time.
I still can't understand why they would put such a BS car in their magazine...
