Updated list of recommendations:

Larger Exhaust (3" AAM to replace 2.5" Greddy)
CAT deletes (remove test pipes from build)
water/meth w/setting for activation at high boost levels
Haltech instead of UTEC
ARP L19 Head/Main Studs

Thanks to everyone for the help. Before we move forward today, anyone else have any more ideas. Is there anything on my build sheet that is unnecessary or unwise? Anything that is going overboard for my goals, that could be reduced or removed to keep the costs down?

I didnt see this in your list, but you are also going to want to look at upgrading your Auto tranny to handle your new found power.

others can chime in but I suspect you can hit 550whp without any headwork... that money might be better used on your tranny

looks good,...save money with cheaper rods and put it into valves and titanium retainers.

For a full build like this, the Haltech will definitely help you extract the most power with the smoothest delivery.

I have 3.5" APS cat-delete pipes and they are too stinky. None of you guys with test pipes must park inside a garage. The fumes are overwhelming even with a 14.7 AFR at idle in an enclosed area. Clothes and hair continue to smell... yuck.

Going with custom cats now...

A few people have recommended upgrading the transmission. What we had included is the valve body upgrade from SGP. It is rated at 550 WHP, I believe.

Is the problem with other parts of the transmission, or will this suffice, or is it just not really going to handle that power regardless of the rating?

You definitely need a clutch to manage this power. A twin is a minimum, a triple is icing on the cake. Don't underestimate the benefit of a good clutch. They are not cheap either.

I assume you mean for a 6MT, my car is a 5AT. The internal clutch is part of the transmission, I assume.

There is still an upgrade you can do for the AT. But because I have a MT, I forget the name of the upgrade, just search for it. But I would definitely research the upgrade. For your power goals, I believe it would be necessary. If you were aiming for the 400 rwhp range, I would say its optional, but your aiming higher. Good luck.

What are each of the +- specifications [in ten thousandths] on every single component machined or replaced..............is every single aftermarket weighted within 1.0 gram and matched for balance.

Absolute perfection is the name of the game if longevity is important.

Anyone on here done 500+WHP on an Auto 350 or G35? I'd love to see if they upgraded the valve body on the tranny, the entire tranny, or nothing at all and what the results were.

the greddy EVOTT exhaust is 2.75" not 2.5".
the SGP cat deletes are a nice piece and will be included in my upcoming TT setup, along with open dumps just cuz it sounds sick!! lol Good luck with the build.

I have an Auto G35, I have the upgraded VB, TC and tranny internals from GTM along with both oil cooler and tranny cooler. Right now I have just finished doing the engine break in and will be going back in December to see what they can do, right now on the low boost of 9psi I obtained 400hp and 440trq.

I do think that a VB upgrade alone will not suffice for the power level you are aiming for, I think the tranny itself would need to be upgraded also, even for longevity purposes.
