It depends on if you are using a return fuel system or a non returnless fuel system but around 500whp is about where you'll see the limit.

500rwhp is pretty optimistic unless you are talking about 60+ psi of fuel pressure.

i wouldnt plan on going over 440-450rwhp, that will be maxed out at decently normal fuel pressure.

i was only looking for about 440-450 until i can upgrade my fuel system a little more. i already have the basic fuel return from AAM.

I would say phunk hit it on the head. Probably about 450whp max.

My RC 440s maxed out at 425whp (on a supercharged setup) with fuel pressure at 65psi (walbro 255 fuel pump). They will not support anywhere near 500 whp, unless that fuel pressure is uber high.

Superchargers will take power from the motor (which requires additional fuel)that is loss due to the parasitic characteristics of the supercharger which ultimately means...... that your injectors will max out sooner then they would on a turbo system

returnless, with just a Walbro pump...maybe 350-380 MAXIMUM depending on the dyno. On ours, we are at 94% duty cycle at about 330whp, with a TT setup at 5psi.

With an RFS, as mentioned, 400-450whp maximum...depending on the fuel pressure you use.

Even with the fuel return system you will be very lucky to get even 440hp out of them. If you want a reliable fuel system that will give you 450hp you need bigger injectors. 550cc with the Rfs will give you more room to play.

I've maxed my 440cc injectors out at 460 whp without a RFS. I have a walbro pump. Still running strong, although I do live on the edge with my Z.

yeah but that is also with nitrous, the nitrous doesnt use any more fuel through the injectors. it sprays the fuel you need through the jets, so that doesnt truthfully count.

returnless, they are good for around 350 on my dyno. with return fuel, you can get around 400-440 with normal fuel pressure.

^^^^ My mistake ^^^ I knew you would straighten me out, but I'm still confused then about my whp without nitrous. IIRC my whp was 425 without the spray and no rfs

I'm making almost 430 with my 440cc, but I also have meth/water injection so it doesn't really count since the meth is helping to richen up the a/f

well the APS actually has a fuel pressure raising boost dependent device that will raise up your fuel pressure with boost. thats why!!

What do you think the duty cycle would be if I were running 440cc injectors and the 9psi pulley on a vortech system? Would I be maxing em out?

not a fair question, need more details on it. 440s with no RFS max out around 350 ish on my dyno.

I would be running just the Vortech kit with 9psi pulley, plenum, cats, and exhaust. My fuel system would be just the 440cc injectors and walbro 255lph pump.

on a built motor I maxed out my base APS injectors, which are in the neighborhood of 440, at 450 hp
