I have the TXS wideband and I don't want a bunch of gauges all over the car.

Rob, you know I am running my JWT's on stock injectors, and the Walbro 190 that comes with the JWT kit. No return fuel, either, nor boost controller, and you know how much I track my G.

Stock wastegates on the 530's are 6.8 PSI, which is nmore than enough for me. Maybe down the road, some injectors, a boost controller, and a return system, but really, on a stock block you can only go maybe 2-3 more PSI, and is all that really worth it for maybe 40-50 more rwhp (and increased chance of going boom)?

I guess I just want; 1) the added insurance 2) do it now while everything out/opened. I've talked to Nick about two maps/boost levels; 1) Daily 6lbs 2) Track 8lbs. My main concern is reliabilty. I want to leave MAC (my installer) and not have to ever come back. I'm sure small issues might rise but hopefully its stuff that I can handle.

I'm running the JWT kit with stock injectors and no fuel return or anything really besides the JWT kit. Its been boosted for about 10k miles and not a single problem! I just got back from my first track day with it, and again not a single problem on the stock block. Go with JWT!

Thanks for the info. Glad to see another happy JWT owner. I'm not questioning JWT TT or another brand. I'm sold on the JWT.

Question: Since the Z come stock w/ an Oil Pressure gauge, should I get a fuel pressure over and Oil Temp? I'd like to stay away from a 3-pod A-piller. And I'm leaning towards installing my TXS Wideband w/ the Defi-Link Control Unit in the empty cubby hole abouve the radio. Thanks.

Also since this hasn't been answered:

People have reported less fuel leakage and fuel smell from the CJM.

Oil temp is more important than fuel press, but fuel press is pretty important. It has certainly helped diagnose a couple of small problems I have had, like forgetting to reconnect the vaccuum tube that runs to the fuel pump for the rising rate fuel pressure controller on boost.

That is an idea, however; 1) It might look really tacky 2) Will the other two gauges work w/o it?

I was reading the sticky "How to do Twins right the first time" and while I'm not saying Going Deep is wrong for upgrading the internals I don't think its a must. I considering the JWT TT kit and just doing some research on what I need. So far this is my list:

EDIT: Updated list
- JWT 535BB Twin Turbo Kit
- JWT Clutch/Flywheel Combo
- CJ Motorsports Fuel Return Kit
- RC 550cc Injectors w/ clips
- Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
- Defi 60mm BF Series Gauges: Boost Gauge, Oil Temp Gauge &, Defi-Link Control Unit
- CF A-Piller Dual Pod Set
- TXS DTEC Map Sensor
- Perrin Boost Solenoid

For more info on my car: Robert_K's 350Z
I have been running over 10k miles strong on APS TT, Unichip, APS standard fuel system, APS 450cc injectors (500cc @ 4bar), JWT clutch/flywheel, and custom exhaust.

I have been running about 1000 miles so far with APS TT, F-Con VPro, APS fuel system & injectors, JWT clutch/flywheel, same exhaust, and added a Pure plenum spacer.

So about 11k miles right now, NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. I was pushing 386whp before, now I am at 407whp and 437whp (2 maps). I have never had an issue with running out of fuel or anything like that.

I plan on driving her for a long time before building my block.

Oh and Robert, are you gonna be running a UTEC? I think that is a better choice than to run a SS box you can't tune.

Also you might consider looking into the Synchronic Synapse BOV.

I'm already using the TXS UTEC.

Good times.

You might also want to consider an Oil Catch Can, and Oil Cooler.

I'm told some people have had issues with the UTEC boost solenoid not adjusting properly for altitude, and/or temperatures.

If/when I go with higher boost, I will be using an HKS EVC VI boost controller rather than worrying about the UTEC not working quite right and getting dangerous boost spikes.

I guess I rather e able to switch maps and have the boost level switch than. Versus switch maps and going to an EBC to raise/lower boost.
