you can use an East-out / bolt extractor to get it out.

so its the bolt that is 6 inches long? Itll hold the position you adjusted it to, To re adjust youll probably need some vice grips.

To get it out, you will probably have to drop the entire tensioner assembly. Shoot, nissan might make you buy the entire assembly just to replace the bolt. GL and let us know how it turns on.

I have a used tensioner assembly I'll sell you for $40. They're like $90 at the dealer.

you can try a left handed drill bit,it might pull it right out as the bit digs in.

if the belt is too tight get it off, you need to cut the belt to remove it. then, you can remove the tensioner pulley assembly. Don't try to remove the tensioner pulley assembly without removing the belt first!

This thread wins most misleading title evar award.

When I come into the FI section and see DOOOOOOOOOOOOMed in a title, I want to see pictures of massive, catastrophic failure!

yeah like if the thread was about you blowing your engine while taking a turn fast, then losing control, boucing off the highway wall and taking out 6 other cars and 3 motorcycles killing 5 people and injuring 4 and getting the highway closed down for 4 hours as the police made sense of the carnage and arrested you for manslaughter and are being sued by all the other people/insurance companies involved in the accident
....then I'd say you're DOOOOOOOOOMed

but yeah, just replace the tensioner
