Sorry to hear man, call Vortech and they will give you a RA#. The turn around time is not to bad but shipping can cost afew $$s.

There is no excuse for the units failing the way they have been but Vortech has been doing a good job on getting them fixed and back out fast. Hope by now they know whats wrong and have the problem taking care of.

Sorry to hear bro but there is a number of us that have gone through this now. Like was said above, call Vortech and get an RA number. The turn around time is about 3 weeks on the newer blowers. They are doing a pretty good job of getting these back ASAP. GL

Bad luck for sure !!!!
I think you are the first case of someone having an injector go bad and blow a motor . How was the car being driven at the time the injector went bad ?

The car was being driven at basically an idle all the way to virgina but what messed it was when the motor hydrolocked when we tried to start it up several times

Actually this is my brothers Z, ha for some reason i must have been signed on when he posted. He is floridaboy on here that has the other thread about the vortech eating itself. He has had the worst luck in the world for sure with this. We pulled the charger off yesterday to find the blades cutting a grove into the houseing So its getting shipped out hopefully on monday to vortech to fix the situation and get his Z back on the road soon as we can this time....i hope

More fail from Vortech.

On the plus side, it seems once the faulty blowers are replaced there are no further issues.

Yeah, seems Vortech knows exactly what the issue is with these newer Vortechs that are going bad. Once they get fixed, they seem to be fine.
