Have you guys had a chance to repeat the dyno with the VTC enabled?
Curious how drastic the changes would be??? Thanks.

The first dyno posted is of a Turbonetics equipped 350z at 9 PSI (Quicksilver's car)

Here's the HP curve (as you can see there are significant midrange gains)

So we didnt clutter the graphs we have HP and TQ on seperate graphs.

Here's the TQ Curve

Now here's what alot of you have been waiting for. We tested the GT37R with and without the VTC on. As some of you know we made 706WHP previously with the VTC off. When we activated the VTC it made the curve look alot more like the GT35R curve (w/ vtc off)

HP Curve (20 psi)

TQ Curve (20 psi)

So yes, VTC does make alot of difference in the midrange.

But have you run them since with VTC on at that kind of boost and tune? I believe that was the question.

I could be wrong, but I think that is exactly what he is trying to demonstrate.
First a Turbonetics curve at 9psi
then a greddy curve at 20psi
The Green vs. red line/graph indicate before VTC and after VTC active.
Jorge please confirm.

Correct green with cam timing ON
20psi isnt with the greddy kit but the gt37r... so you can see how much it helped with the spool time

A little loss on top but the power comes on much sooner and holds for a bit longer too.
Very nice. Thanks.

BTW, how is it enabled or disabled? is it via USB to PC when performing the initial tuning/programming?

Anything new to report on this development.
I am trying to get my hands on one of these units along with the boost controller solenoid kit and fuel sensor kit.

Well I got my ProEFI yesterday. Looks rather interesting. But the most obvious thing I did notice is absolutely no interface other than the dealer/tuner plugs to connect with the unit. So how am I supposed to be able to tweek the darn thing if I want to make a change. I thought it was supposed to be unlocked and tunable at home per say???

P.S. I am not tuned yet. Just picked it up. Once the car is fully broken in and I build the turbo, I will install the unit...Who knows maybe sooner.

Si Senor! There are already a couple of Supra's, G35's, and 350Z's using a ProEFI computer.
