Default Finally decided, APS TT it is...

So i've been debating the last few months whether or not I should cross over to the darkside, and said f-it.
I had bought the nismo diff a few months ago, which made me completely fall in love with the car all over again.. I already had done the clutch/fw and headers(f-in waste), sways ect ect..
But I needed a little more umph. So while everyone went shopping for crap on black friday, I went shopping for a meaningful investment(lol)..
I drove down to MRC and purchased the APS setup, utec, fuel pump, and HKS 550s.MRC wasnt open, but Julian met me over there anyway. Good looks on his part, he's a nice guy to do business with.
I cant wait to do the install, im like a little kid right now. My brother and I will be pulling the motor in our shop to do the installation. I will post pics when I start pulling the b!tch apart..

Good stuff. Twinturbo'ing will completely transform your car into another beast. Trust me... The bad thing is that you will always want more and more...

have you dropped your car off yet, and if so, did you see mine (redline with nismo wheels), because i am missing her dearly.

funny story actually about what im having installed. when i dropped the car off, i was having Forged install my Greddy kit (with the FMIC of course), a HKS SSQV blow off valve, a UTEC (to be later tuned by sharif), and a Greddy Evo TT exhaust for good measure. When I got there i decided that the car was also gonna need a HKS EVC IV boost controller and the Forged Performace braided oil lines. Later that night I decided that I was paying all this money for a sweet turbo set up, so I may as well help protect it with a turbo timer...add that to the list. Later that week Sharif pm'd me about adding a fuel return system. I had been seriously considering this before, buy I'm only 20 and I don't have the budget of some of the Big Dogs who get their Z's done at Forged, but he gave me a good price for the CJM return system and it fit into my budget, so I went ahead and had him put that on their too. bottom line is that my little trip to Forged got a little out of hand, lol, but it will be soooo worth it when I go to get my precious Z. Oh, and I'm basically broke now, but I'm in college (Clemson University, go Tigers!) so what else is new

ha ha sounds like me too. I called Sharif and said I want 400 whp, tell me what I need and off it went from there lol. I am waiting for the kit to get to forged before taking it up there. I was up there last week though. I am having everything minus a built motor did there.
Greddy Kit w/ intercooler
UTEC
Clutchmaster Stage 4 clutch/flywheel
CJM Return Fuel System
HKS EVC boost controller
Greddy Evo TT exhaust
Defi Gauges
Hotchkis sways
SGP 3 in. downpipes w/ dumps
Innovate Wideband
and a few other things I am sure I am forgetting. . . lol

i think i will probably freak out (in a good way) if Sharif can make a reliable, safe 400whp from my car, but i'm not gonna hold my breath.

it looks like in terms of performance parts, i have pretty much the exact same setup as you. i also forgot to mention that im going with AAM's down pipes and dump tubes. so maybe 400whp on my high boost map may not be out of the question

well it shouldn't be too hard to get. I will be doing this on high boost and running off wastegate pressure for low boost.

needless to say, i'm crossing my fingers. really though, it is just a number, and as long as the car puts a smile on my face (which no doubt, it will) i'll be happy.

however it would be cool to say i have a 400whp car

edit: damn, it didnt take much at all to get this thread off track, lol

400whp is easy as cake . . . my car made 407whp @ 7psi and 437.8whp @ 9psi on GTM's Dynojet, so factor in maybe 10-15whp less on Sharif's Heartbreaker and you should see similar numbers.

I've seen threads getting jacked quick in FI, but dam!.. ha ha

I hope to get a nice 400whp for now. He(julian) warned me already that it will be fast for a week. Its the beginning of winter,so I may have to get the motor built before spring.
I was going to get the Greddy, but the APS seemed to suit me better.
