Default G Sedan FI setup

OK guys I think I have everything in order for my turbo install, I just wanted to see what you guys thought of the set up before I begin. My car is a 04 sedan 6mt. First off I have the turbo, intercooler and piping from a used Turbonetics kit (from a 350Z mt). I will be using a Precision Turbo SN-61 turbo in place of the old Turbonetics. It will bolt right in the place of the Turbonetics turbo. I have a slightly used SSV zwith thermol gasket, 550cc RC injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, tial 38mm wastegate, ac relocation lines, UTEC and map sensor (already installed), installing custom 2 ½” exhaust (no cats) to a first gen Stillen rear section. I will be running an Autometer Sport Compact series wideband a/f and boost gauge. I will probably install and oil temp and oil pressure gauge later. All this will be installed and tuned at a respected local shop here in my area. The guy installing it is just finishing up a friend of mine 2003 350Z right now. It is a custom kit that resembles the PowerLab. It should be done in the next couple of weeks. I will post his final numbers and pics of his setup when it is complete. Once his is finished my Sedan will go under the knife. Wish me luck.

Anyway guys do you see anything I am missing? Any other suggestions that I might need to think about. I would have loved to have Jeremy @ PF install the kit but Orlando is just no doable right know.

Thanks

You will need to cut the A/C line brackets and VERY CAREFULLY bend the A/C lines out of the way of the front of the turbo. then, you can cut a 3-4" hole in the front radiator support mount so that you can run an air inlet pipe and filter out of the front of the turbo.

other than that, you won't have any difficulties with the sedan.

Also, the sedan's fuel pump housing and gas tank are different from the coupe/Z tank.

1320 C-Seng. Its in Spartanburg. I have seen alot of the work that has come out of the shop its all good stuff. They do alot of custom work. They installed both my friends and my utec and tuned them last year and have installed other things on my friends 350. I can't wait to see his 350 with the custom kit they are putting on his car.

If you PM Phunk, he has a special fuel pump mod kit for the sedan for the fuel can assembly. The return/siphon assemly is different from the 350z and G35 coupe.

I'd forget the SSV and get a spacer instead, or even a used Crawford Plenum. Any reason you chose the SSV? Otherwise, so far, so good. Good Luck.

Have fun!!

The sedan fuel pump install is easy. Just use the turbonetics instructions but don't mess with the regulator. The sedan install is more of a drop in.

No worries the car is being driven down to Jeremy at perrformance Factory tomorrow. I feel better about him doing the car than the local guy. It will cost a little more but I will feel much more safe about it.
