the air comes out of the bypass all the time. ou have to step on the gas to close the BPV to start building boost.

Yeah I knew that it was supposed to be open at idle and such. Just when I creep around in 1st and 2nd gear it sounds pretty loud. I wanna tighten it down to 5 threads but I'm just worried that might be too tight. Whatcha think Chris?

And why does this guys BPV sound different than mine?

You can tighten, but listen for compressor surge. It'll be very "pulse-y"

Oh so tighten it down while running? BTW thanks for your help so far man. I appreciate it.

Same goes for CUxtopher, Sentry65, Muzzy, and Booger.

I dont think id mess with it while running. the g35 in the video was revving the motor in that video. Sounded like short revs.

Just keep it at 6-7 threads and it should work fine. The bpv is going to be very loud at partial throttle and higher rpms.
