May or may not have them do the work. Would like to. But very far away.

I got the GTM stage 0 short block, and so far so good! Eagle rods are cheap and can take some beatings!

for your powergoals it will make no difference on the rods
I woudl suggest you go with L19s since this are proven to over 1000whp no issues and it saves you also on machining to larged size studs...
I woudl suggest you use 800cc injectors too but the HKS injectors you mention are good too... I think also deachwerks makes some like 650cc to.. not sure

I dont believe you need this either : HKS Twin Power DLI II

I say go for the DLI II if money is not a huge object. If it is I say skip it, and add it later. But if you can afford it, then why not go for it.

That is basically the same approach I took at it when I purchased mine, that and I am a HKS *****

If money is not an object, then I say get it.

If you want to better spend your money, fork over another ~600 and get cams, a DLI and easily be added do the road while cams cannot, and the gains you will get from cams will be huge compared to the negligible gains (if any) from a DLI.

So basically I would save the $500 bucks on the DLI and get cams

Why not just spend a little more and go for GTM's 3.8L stroker?

I'm thinking about it myself George, people spend a shitload on piston's, rods, wrist pins, crank balancing, studs, race bearings, etc. Seems to me the thing to do is just go for the 3.8L stroker which has all of the above. PM me about it if you get a chance.

Doesn't matter if you're stroked or not. Only matters if you know how to DRIVE your car. I'd rather spend more on track days and track lessons.

I fail to see what you're getting at. Are you implying that George or myself is a bad driver? What says you can't be stroked and do track days?

What are YOU implying?

It's not "a little more." Several thousand dollars is "a little more?"

I'd rather get a basic build that can take the abuse and get better at driving with lower power than go ***** out stroker right away.

I'm implying that at first everyone was stock block FI, and making 400whp was a big deal. Now, it seems like 500whp isnt a bid deal anymore, and to really have something a little different than the rest of the crowd, a stoker kit seems the way to go.

I have a very basic Greddy setup on my car; no built motor, not even gauges (yet), it's a simple setup. I already have a shitload sunk into my car, and that's just the tip of the iceberg when I think about what else I want to do to my car (everything ), so in the long run, a couple of thousand dollars is significant, but ultimately not a huge sum when you consider how much you're going to eventually spend on your car.

Plus, if you want lower power, just buy some lower pressure wastegate springs, and get a good boost controller so you can crank it up later if you want.

I didn't mean to be rude if I came off that way. I understand what you are saying as well. So each to his/her own, after all we build our cars for different purposes and with different intents.
