Default APS TT, dont buy forge actuators

Hi,

I posted a while back complaining about forge actuators... I was sold a story that APS TT actuators cannot hold high boost and forked out a shyte load of cash for forge ones, this is after specifying that I want the springs to hold the actuator closed up to about 75 kcal or 0.75 bar if u will.... so forge sent me actuators that open up at .3-.5 of a bar... thanx alot guys that really pissed me off some what... being in South Africa shipping costs and all that are a mission 4 little mistakes...

so in the end my tuner took the standard actuator that comes with the APS TT and put it in a vice and pushed the top of the actuator in causing additional load on the spring inside... this means that my standard actuators that opened at .5 of a bar now open at .75... they can hold boost well up to about 1.3 of a bar.... this little fix cost nothing and they work great...

So please guys with APS TT's that are concerned about their actuators... just push the top in on itself and preload the spring and u dont have to buy the lame *** FORGE ones that cost a fortune and release at one level and close at another... FORGE springs are long and lame *** ... they taper in and look flimsy wimsy... if only I knew that I only need to put a dent in my standard actuator.... if u need any help regarding this issue just pm me.

Kindest Regards,
DDD

You mean Forged Performance? They were not mentioned. Even if the parts were bought there, I don't think they make that part - they just sell it.

so who is your problem with? you were talking in your thread like you were calling some one out, not just venting about the actuators.

its Forge, not forged performance, it is a UK based company that has their US shop setup here in orlando.

they make parts for tons of Euro cars and have actuators that fit the APS kit just perfectly. they work perfect for a great affordable price...

eerrr... not calling anyone out likesay... its just a bit of a biach asking for a .75 spring load and you get a .3 to .5 and paying from an inferior currency adds to the pain. and then the tuner pops in and sorts it out in 5 minutes 4 free... eeeiish africa.

u should come to south africa ... fornication is a religion, the elephants carry our shipments of weed from one suburb to the next selling door to door...

No Man!! here are the demographics in CT : Coloured people account for 48.13% of the population, followed by Black Africans at 31%, Whites at 18.75%, and Asians at 1.43%. The median age in the city is 26 years old, and for every 100 females, there are 92.4 males.
South Africa especially Cape Town is completely different than the rest of cities in Africa. People have a misconception of the demographics in SA.

Coloured here in Cape Town looks either asian or like latinos. See below some pics of coloureds in CT. This is a local modelling agency which will give you an idea of what females look like here.

This is how many blacks look like:

Sorry for the info overload.. just need to rectify peoples perception of South Africa.
