we tried to take it to the performance factory but the guy was in a hurry to get home to miami. the car has a new engine with build coming. already have arias pistons and cosworth bearings. getting eagle rods next month. and the theoretically, the guy neglected to post stock plugs were still there and told me it was not un heard of for it to be so. im laughing inside.

If this did happen, its time to buy a new motor, or do a complete rebuild on the blown motor. inspect all aspects of the car, and properly re-install the car, re tune, and enjoy

i guess i just wanted to see what people thought, it really did happen. it has a new motor compliments of jeremy from performance factory. he did a great job, now my buddy can drive it in confidence. anyone searching for a FI car have it completely check and checked again.. this car has over $4k before he really even drove it, because it blew.

If it were me, I'd be having a serious conversation with the seller. Sadly there is no legal obligation for them to fix anything or pay for anything, but if your smart enough and hes dumb enough you might be luck to trick him into paying or something.

It states in the Theoretical FS thread the seller offered to help... So theoretically thats not so bad..

That seller also said hypothetically that you over revved the car.. Wusup with that?

just think, what if they brought this car to me, got oil all over my shop and i pulled the blown motor and put another one in there. haha, that would make a good story.

also, what if we found a turbo to wastegate vacuum line with a straight fitting in it where there used to be a manual boost controller, also found the recirculation pipe broken so the car would overboost and stock heat range plugs in it...

hypothetically speaking of course.
