Can't wait to see it Chris.

I noticed that you were painting some valve covers. Did the powder coated ones get warped?

Please let me know because I have mine sitting at the powder coaters waiting to be coated, and they warned be that they may warp...

I have them holding off until I get feedback on your experience.

We were concerned that because I did not get to see the prep process for the valve covers that they may have been sand blasted and gotten some abrasive material inside the baffles in the covers, so I am painting them this time around and I personally cleaned them up and taped them off so all the painter has to do is spray them.

jtgli powder coated his valve covers and blew the rear side of the gasket out twice, then switched back to a spare set of stockers I had and no problems since...BE CAREFUL TERRY.

The new setup is a bit meh compared to the old ones, but safety is trumping looks from now on. I'm just not sure the new polished cover is going to look nice enough, but the wire tuck and painted engine bay may make up for it a bit .

Thanks for the info, Chris. You're right. Not worth the risk.

Here are my old pics. Greddy Turbo Kit on 03 350z, powder coated intake pipes, black couplers, and custom powder coated panels to cover the k&n filters.

First three are before pics.

^^ sooo, basically it's a stock engine bay? J/J

Can't remember if I posted these are not. If you didn't catch it, we had the cover of Super Street with this the other month (built from concrete to the sky at Intense..)

Thanks

You cannot believe how many phone calls and emails I've received about the carbon fiber intake.. My carbon fiber guy is tip top and hence, a little on the pricey side. A lot of Supra guys are sooper cheap, and wanna lowball. So I then ask them to go to someone else who is cheaper but they don't generally even know someone who can do this level of high quality carbon fiber fab. Ahahahah..

Here are a few pictures I am still working on everything I just got it all running the other day and I just want to drive it but over the winter I am going to fix and repolish the piping and clean up the wiring/wire tuck. I hope to update it with better pictures soon, if I ever get it retuned and all of the bugs worked out.
