Is this a Powerlab? I didn't know they made a twin turbo setup. I love where the turbos are placed.
Yes, it is PowerLab -- but a custom 1-off. The customer wanted the turbos visible, and there was no other manufacturers doing the top mounts, so PowerLab stepped up and made it happen. Car is still here, at Intense, and should be strapped to the dyno here shortly to make some 1000whp+ pulls..
rockd; is that safe cutting that beam like that? Did/does it effect handling? And what strut brace is that? Looks beefy.
didn't affect handling at all... pus, i only cut away half of it (the brace is still connected under the filter).
if you've ever felt that brace, you know that it's pretty soft and pliable. it's made of composite fiberglass and it melted like BUTTER when i put a dremel to it. besides, the strut bar and front bumper cross beam probably do most of the work
oh, and that's the circuit sports strut bar... i got in on the initial GB when they were selling them
