Default Gap iridium plugs for FI?

Im about to pick up another set of LFR6AIX-11 NGK plugs that come with a .044" gap. I have a quick question..

Do you guys gap your idium plugs for FI applications? The plugs I have in now,(LFR6AIX-11) which are the only set I've had since going FI (about 6k ago) I gapped to 0.035”, but I did not realize it is not generally recommended to gap iridium plugs

Thanks!
Aaron

There's another thread here in the FI forum about this same thing. About three weeks agio. It goes into detail about gap settings for FI setup. Just search for it. You can stay at .044 or go down to .028. You find the thread and some of great tuners listed what they use.

But from my understanding you shouldn't gap Iridium plugs. There very easy to mess up (sesitive). Very easy to damage. The one step colder plugs come gapped between .040 and.044. The two step colder are about .030 gap.

Leave them at the .44 gap unless your running big boost, then you can gap them around .28
