Default Vortech: Difference in Si-Trim and T-Trim

I was wondering what is the difference between the Si trim blower and the T-trim blower.. I am asking becuase my original charger has gone bad twice now and they said that they would upgrade me to a ttrim no charge.... So now when i called them yesterday they were like o yeah we didnt give you a T-trim we gave you an Si-trim...... DIDNT even call me to let me know, they said there reasoning was that it is a way more efficent charger.... i was just hoping for some input here

Thanks guys

the t-trim is WAYYY more expensive. thats why they didnt give it to you.
plus the t-trim makes more HP and boost. If they told you they were giving you a T-trim, i'd ask for the t-trim

max boost on the T & Si trim is the same and the hp is only 25 more for the T-trim (not that you would every see 800 on a VQ with it).

Is there a way to visibly tell the difference between the trims?

As in a model number spec?

also without ever looking at the stock SC-trim impeller you'd never know. My serial badge still says SC trim.

your better off with the SI trim only because its cheaper . With out an all cog pulley system to take advantage of either of the T or SI trims . You will never take the blowers to thier limits . Belt slip will happen some where near half of what the blower can put out .

Technically, the don't have to give you anything. Although it's not a T-Trim, I would be happy with the SI over the normal SQ.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed with the Si trim. A few people have it already and are very happy so far. Dyno's should be following soon. I am going to upgrade to the Si trim in the very near future too. If you got it for free, even better. You are a lucky guy. If you don't like it, I'll be more than happy to trade with you.

The 430 you made before and a 35 shot would be good. High 400s and a 100 shot on a stock motor won't last long, but it would be fun
