i think im going to do it. i mean. i might as well since i have already come this far with the build and since nothing is in the motor yet and the parts are still all just laying there ready to be installed...why not stroke the beast right??
so i guess i need to know what my options are. and how to do this...so a few things i need to know are...which one?? i know gtm has a 3.8 and a 4.2 kit. and BC has a 4.15 kit. the thing i like about the 4.15 kit is Injected performance runs it with sleeves. i would like to do this as well...so if i can get sleeves with any of the other kits that would work.
also, what about my head gasket if i do sleeve. its the hks 97mm...and i know for high performance you should sleeve to 100mm??? or am i wrong. if so, will i need a new headgasket??
what are some of the problems often seen with stroked vq's? maintenence required? installation ease for someone like joe kinefic (he will be doing it)? installation time? anything else you can think of upgrading along with the bigger stroker??
sharif im hoping you can follow through on this!!

Look into how length of stroke effects tourqe, hp, and rpms.
You can find what will best give you results you want.
If you are taking a poll, I vote for large piston surface (wide bore) with a short stroke. This provides a quick revving high RPM, High HP engine, at the expense of some torque.

why don't you create 1 thread with all your babbling.. we don't need you to create a thread everytime you have a thought on what you want to do with your car..
you are cluttering up the forum with useless bullsh!t that stops people from sifting through legitimate FI information.. its no wonder people don't search anymore.. they have to sift through 3 pages of people and their dreams..
i say we create a sub FI forums... "FI Plans/Hopes/Dreams"

/ closed please discuss this in your 700 wheel thread.
edit. there are also plenty of threads on strokers avail as well. Sharif is your build im sure he can tell you what you need to do as well.
