Default 3 inch down pipe mounting to Evo2 exhaust?

This may be a retarded question, but is it possible to mount any of the 3 inch downpipes for the Greddy TT (SGP, AAM, etc.) to the Greddy Evo2 exhaust? I'm looking to relieve some back pressure and run the wastegate dumps but do not really want to buy an entire new exhaust (at this time) as well but I realize this may not be possible.

anything is possible with a tig welder and a mandrel pipe bender.

find a shop with those and the downpipe will mount right up.

The Evo2 is one of the most restrictive exhausts out there for FI. If you are looking to relieve backpressure, I would be looking at the exhaust first...before doing the 3 inch downipes.

Of course, you could do both at the same time. But opening up with 3 inch downipes, and continuing to run the Evo2 is counterproductive, IMHO. I'd suggest upgrading to the EvoTT exhaust, doing the big downpipes, and then removing the bottle neck in the EvoTT like this.

Hope that helps.

On this topic.. Revup with a 125 Shot of Nitrous. Would the EVO2 be too restrictive or will it be fine at that power?
