Default vortech tuning question

i currently have a utec tuned to my NA setup...im installing a vortech supercharger at my house but taking it to a nearby show for a tune...im wondering if it is safe to drive my car with the vortech installed on my current tune or if i need to get my car towed to the shop?

no, you still have to push on the gas pedal hard to get positive boost pressure

the belt is always spinning the blower though (unless disconnected) so when you floor the gas pedal, you'll still get instant positive boost - how much is instantly there depends on the rpms you're at.

ask the tuner if they have a base vortech map they can send you for the UTEC. Then just take it easy on the way there.
