lol, you let your exhaust determine what F/I you went? if you do go turbonetics or any other turbo with stock block there is a good chance you will eventually blow your motor. just make sure you are ready for the downtime and financial hit you will have if your motor goes.

ya i didnt want to drop another 1500$ and mess with reselling my current exhaust to go single turbo. plus i wanted to keep my bumper brace.

You really cant compared a tweaked vortech setup vs a stock turbonetics. How about your tweaked vortech up against say Taurran's tweaked turbonetics?

that being said, to me Vortech FTW!

Nexx and stewieisslow, either one of you members of one of the Z car clubs in Dallas or Ft. Worth? Reason I'm asking is that i've never seen or heard a Vortec in real life and was just curious to see one. I've got a Greddy with stock motor but it's probably nothing you guys have'nt seen before. Let me know if you guys want to meet.

BTW, stewie are you having a shop do your install and tune or are going to DIY? Sorry bout going off topic.

Vortech sounds mean as hell from the outside. plus the supercharger makes the exhaust a louder unlike turbos.

Nice. I did notice the the sound of my exhaust became subdued after my turbos were installed. Sometimes I miss that raspy exotic sound when WOT back when I had headers and test pipes.

oooh another Vortech in DFW. I personally know 2 other supercharged G35s in the area. We should have a DFW FI G/Z meet.

first try re-porting the valve lifter with a steam cleaner. this allows the breather valve to increase o2 sats to the combustion chamber. once the CONSTABULATOR is open then the boost from the torque converter box will allow the rpm to modulate.......

The above post is what can happen when your business partner gets ahold of your computer.
