Like I said, all signs point to VRT. Stay away, if you are smart.

Gilberto Morales isn't Mr. A or has anything to do with him. Mr. A is long gone.

i'm with Dave on this one.. something is definately up
i will be the last one to defend VRT even with the new owners for the fact that they were and still are VRT.You do not have to like me or believe me i do not care.**** i do not even care for fricku for the simple fact that he is still defending them.what i can say is that those coilovers cost VRT new and old $400 a set and like i said they are standard coilovers knocked off. what kills me is that they really think they will actually sell them for $2200.I think that is ludicrous .

Anyways i work on alot of cars that ppl on this board brag about so right back at ya buddy

it all depends on what state youre in...here in illinois all you have to do is type in the name of any business registered in illinois at www.cyberdriveillinois.com and the name of the president/owner will come up. I know Cali has a state webpage as well, however some states require that you pay for a certificate of good standing...in illinois its free and just pops right up.

n/m just saw the post above

Hellos and salutations,

It's beyond me why anyone would want there to be even a hint that he/she had/has any involvement with VRT. In the aftermath of their destruction to this community, is it so difficult to comprehend that the old adage of "guilt by association" plays an even larger role in an international forums than at any other time in history? What does it benefit, or gain an individual to post even the slightest retort? You're simply adding kerosene to an already monstrous inferno. If it clucks and has feathers, it's probably a chicken.

To the facts in this thread:

1. Several members have posted stating that they received the same exact email from this company.

2. None of said members have ever done business with this company.

3. One way or another said members have had contact, or business with VRT in the past.

4. istan (post #24) has shown that Kristene L Knop had involvement in VRT, and the email sender was kristene71@***.net... Can you say that this is no longer a coincidence???

5. Both companies are/were located in San Diego.

How did this company obtain these members' email addresses? For giggles, let's say that they bought them from VRT. Why? Giving them the benefit of the doubt, let's say that they had their heads soo far up their assses that they weren't aware of VRT's demise. This still doesn't explain the 2 Kristene's in each company. That's not a common spelling of Kristene. Math is your friend...

Also doesn't explain the cheap-***/overpriced coilovers that scream VRT that they are trying to sell.
