Default Question About Turbo

Hey,

I have the Turbonetics turbo kit on my 350Z. I know theres an extreme hate for that kit on this forum and i dont really mind. Its done me well and i like it thus far. Just wondering on your opinion on getting a highflow cat, cause as of now im just running a turbo back exhaust. I live in cali where the laws suck, and im pretty sure the penalty for no car is that your car gets impounded, someone correct me if im wrong. Im just trying to decide if running without a cat is worth the risk. Thanks for any help.

there are plenty of people in Cali with no cats. I have no idea how they do it, largely because I've never cared to find out, but it is possible to fly under the radar and go catless.

Also, this seems like more of an exhaust related question than an FI related question. If I were you, I would ask a mod to relocate this thread to the exhaust sub-forum. You also might have more luck if you ask around in the regional section.
