Thats how almost all mustang owners are tho they think mustangs are the fastest and best car out there. I've beatn 5.0s and 4.6s wen my Z was stock and there mustang was stock and now that im TT i've beat a few more even an 04 with a kenny bell super charger and lots of other mods. Mustangs don't impress me one bit and of couarse wen they lose they got tons of excuses but it don't matter.

the thing with racing a mustang is that unless you are very familiar with mustangs, you won't know if you are raing a poseur or a real beast until its too late.

i love iti think its funny that he assumes that we all aspire to beat mustangs, stock for stock Zs are already faster than mustangs (especially HRs) and the same goes for comparably modified Zs and mustangs. But in that mustang guys defense it must be tough owning a mustang when there are all those real V8s out there like LS1/2/3 making his car look like a joke

In many Mustang owners' defense, I'd say that the ones that typically smack talk a lot are the ones that are only lightly modded and/or half assed. I've met guys with really fast mustangs, and frequent a local shop that deals mainly in them, and the ones with the REALLY fast ones rarely provoke smack talk.
That being said, yes, I think the LSx platform is better suited for power (and I'm more of a chevy guy), but mustangs can be modded for pretty cheap. This especially goes for the 03+ cobras. They aren't called 'Terminators' for nothing...
Still, I know of quite a few Z's that would walk that guys 600whp cobra.

Does anyone actually give a flying **** about what a bunch of mustang drivers think about us? Even if someone like Alberto went over their and wiped the floor with those guys, their gonna make excuses and what not about why their mustangs are still touched by the hand of god.

Besides, no matter how fast, there is always someone faster. I am just shaking my head at whoever posted alberto's videos with the smack talk: "Well here is a video of a member that would own pretty much anyone on here."
