ya, i didnt touch the boost.

however i do beleive, it could be caused by engine flooding. Can i be right? Too rich = too much gas = bogging and rough idle.

and doug, what do you mean by limp mode. can you explain, thanx.

and all my pipes are installed correctly and tightened all the way. My maf is plugged in and my vacuum lines are on the right spots. If this happens again, im gonna take it and get it checked out cuz it scared the hell outta me.

limp mode means the ECU won't let the car rev past 2500 rpms.. it detects a problem..

Too rich can foul the plugs and flood the cylinders which I believe is bad for your rings. I feared having to tear down my engine so I waited to get it retuned before I screwed something up. I know that you didn't touch the boost I was just wondering if you had a gauge if it was reading the same as before.

Does it stall only under WOT or does it still do it while using normal throttle?

Sounds like you went overvoltage on the MAF sensor.

Did some amature roadracing in the CMRA back in 96-97 in the 750 superstock class with a GSXR 750 and had a full D&D exhaust system in mid 97'. Damn that sh*t was loud! to old for that or motocross now.

Sorry to go OT.

I like the way open dumps sound on other peoples cars but I'm afraid it would get tiresome after a while.

no, it didnt stall. it just had a rough idle and bogged when i hit 2500. it bogged under wot and normal throttle. as soon as i hit 2500, it bogged and wouldnt let me go past it.

i dont think flooded cylinders is bad for the rings though because w/e isnt burned is shot out through the exhaust ports. Right?

Idk.

but the thing is, when i turned off the car. i pluged in the scan tool and read the DTC's and i had a few but they were already there. Nothing new. Unplugged the scan tool WITHOUT erasing the codes and the car started up and ran like nothing happened.

Idk man, I would get it looked at. Running like crap under low throttle always turned out bad for me. I don't risk it anymore. First time was a defective cam and the second time was due to a bad tune. I am pretty sure that washing the cylinders can jack things up as well. Play it safe don't WOT and get it looked it before you end up with more downtime and a larger bill.

its pretty bad and will kill your engine, this is the reason that US spec RS4's are having engine problems

Okay I have the T.N. kit with the same broken pipe used as a dump tube. It is facing passenger side and turned SLIGHTLY towards the rear. My boost is pretty consistant other than serious temperture changes. What should I be looking for (What Turran was speaking of?) Just spikes in the boost? I'm not seeing that. Although when I am in mid boost say 5 lbs and just 3/4 throttle and lightly let off say 1/4, I get a jerk. I thought that was just my Spew-tech giving control back to the ECU.

alright, here are codes i pulled just now

lets start with the most popular p0300. thats no problem

next codes i got were for the MAFS. p0102 and p0113

I did a quick research on this and seems like i have to get a new throttle body or something. I dont understand for what though. Can someone explain that to me.

maybe you blew your MAF Sensor.. the next best thing to do is first download the FSM.. then get a Volt Meter that allows you to test resistance and follow the test in the FSM to see if your MAFS is still good
