Well I gave my engine bay a bath in Simple Green, hosed it off and took it out. I got on it and went through the gears several times and the dipstick didn't pop out like a champagne cork.

All the hoses were hooked up correctly.

That was some scary sh*t. I thought I blew another engine!

Wow. . .my dad and I custom fabbed an ATI procharger kit built for an 88 camaro to my '94 F-150 (4.9L I6). The same thing happened to us while driving form CT to Colorado. . .while we were in Nebraska. Talk about scaring the shytes out of us! Turns out the rubber grommet on the valve cover was crumbling inside and plugged up the vented PCV hose, and then eventually loosened up enough and blew out. I lost about 2 quarts of oil with a TON of smoke. I wonder if the check valve in your filter is disintegrating and floating around plugging up "important stuff?"

Good luck!

I am beginning to think our cars need a crankcase evacuation system, like most high HP supras have. They take the PCV valve out and replace it with a -10 fitting. Then on our cars, run both lines from both valve covers to a catch can that then run to the turbo intake pipe. I think this would help get a lot of the pressure out.

I talked to a guy in Miami that's running a custom single turbo and they did this, but routed both to the intake manifold. They even talked about drilling a port in the back of the passenger side valve cover for excess ventilation. I didn't get more details but it sounded interesting.

Yeah that would help, but from my understanding most people do that to create a suction on the pistons to help pull them down and create more power. It would help crankcrank pressure, but its not usually the primary reason for using a pump.

I also need to figure something out, becuase my oil fill cap keeps on poping off.

That seems like a good idea. I guess the greater vaccum from the manifold would help more then the turbo intake pipe?

The new ARC V2 catch can is routed this way... Both the PCV and breather go to the can and the turbo provides the suction. Works very well.

I had my catch can like this and I got all kinds of exhaust smoke. I reconnected the PCV to a manifold source and it stoppped. You sure the turbo has enough vaccum to open the PCV?

I am more talking about removing the PCV completely and replacing it with a -10 fitting.

I had my oil changed at Sutherlin Nissan in Ft Myers last week and the idiots forgot to fully seat the Dip stick and while going over Cape bridge to head back home I went WOT and noticed a ton of smoke coming from the rear of my car as well. Once I got home I noticed the same thing oil all over the inside of the my engine bay. They didn't seat the dip stick properly and it blew out making a huge mess.

Well my dipstick episode has not reappeared. So I think I forgot to seat the dipstick properly.

If it was, you have a crank case pressure problem... Do you run a catch can system? If not I would highly suggest you add one!
I had this happen to me scared the crap out of me . I saw leaking sure as shyt it was oil. All it was is the dip stick did not seat into the second click when I pushed it in. I hope this is yours also. To clean mine I took it to a do it yourself car wash at night not busy then let the car cool for 1/2 hr got the wash water hot and sprayed the engine bay out with hot soapy water looked good as new.

I did nothing but to get rid of the tall oil filter and the problem has never happened again . The guide that lets you put the stick in is missing on my block so my stick never seats
