Default Reflashing ECU with UTEC

Will reflashing the stock ECU help with injector scaling and Idle RPMs. Would there be any other benefits? I hate hot starts and my engine won't crank with my larger injectors.

This is what George from gtm sent me. I got the reflash primarily because Delaware plugs into your obd2 port for inspection and i had a slight misfire code on start-up. he also adjusted the idle permantly to 850rpms. the rest was just icing on the cake.

"Basically the GTM Flash eliminates false codes that would be thrown when running a FCon Vpro, but leaves all the major codes in tact, so if there is a problem you still get a CEL. It is never good to have a CEL all the time because when there is a real issue you will not know.

Cost if $600 for the flash, also included is the 100% WOT fix, as many know the stock ECU starts to close the throttle via DBW as it reaches redline, this flash also eliminates that. Also we can adjust your speed limiter and rev limiter at the same time for no additional charge.

hope this helps,

-George

you car should idle and start perfectly with the UTEC. have you checked your fuel pressure?

Your dealer can up your idle speed usually for free. Any shop with a Uprev Cipher can do it as well.

Will a Reflash improve the drivability with Utec?

I think the issue with the utec and start up and idle is not necessarily because of the utec but just the fact that the stock ecu doesn't know what to do with the larger injectors. I think that's the question the OP is trying to ask. My ecu was reflashed by technosquare by the previous owner but I'm not running huge injectors yet so when I do i'll probably get it reflashed again.

the MAF voltage to the stock ECU is tricked by the utec. There's no reason it shouldnt run properly.

yeah but there's always issues with the utec and larger injectors. I was just suggesting that it might be possible to have technosquare reflash it so it'll be easier to start up.
