Default Procharger installation question

I am going to get in on the group buy for the Procharger supercharger that ends today but had a question for anybody who has installed something like this before. Is this supercharger something that the average person could install? Based on Prochargers wording, the supercharger can be installed with simple hand tools. They also say that their directions are very detalied. Please provide some insight, and thank you in advance.

I think anybody who is slightly mechanically inclined could do it, but make sure to schedule an entire weekend for the job. It shouldn't be too difficult because with the procharger kit you dont have to tap into the oil pan to run lines. If you feel like driving down to memphis, ill help ya with the install

Procharger shows an 8-hour installation time on this. This is a fairly low installation time since most installation range in the 10-12 hour range. I do know that ATI does write out some of the best installation manuals. But, this is a good weekend project.

Hold $1000 in one hand and the instruction manual in the other hand. Choose which avenue you want to take. I'd have a tough time forking over $1000 to someone to do a job that I could do or I could find a friend to help me do.

Try it yourself and if you don't think you can complete it yourself I'm sure someone on the boards or elsewhere will be happy to help you. It's not as tough as a turbo install by any means. Good luck with your FI!
