Default Calling all non-revup Vortech owners...anyone want to do a pulley swap?

I have an revup Vortech kit and am running the 2.87 serp pulley. On the cog side is the 34 jackshaft and 32 supercharger cogs which the kit comes with. I know that the non-revup kits come with the 32 jackshaft and 28 supercharger pulley. I want to know if anyone of you nonrevup guys want to trade jackshaft cog pullies? Your 32 tooth for my 34 tooth? I have a 28 supercharger pulley I want to install but also need the 32 jackshaft so I dont make more boost/power than I want. Please let me know. Thanks
Jon

why not just use the 34t? that combo might not even meet your expectations. I'd try that 1st and go from there.

This may be a little difficult. The non revs will lose boost giving up the 32. GL.

Have you tried Vortech?

Keep the 34 tooth cog and go with the 3.12 serp . You'll have more gripping power with it and slipage wont be as big of a problem

jtgli and I agreed to do this trade earlier today. This was a great idea. Thanks. All the revup and non revup crowd should get together on this type of trade, It's free horsepower for all of us. Best bang for your buck yet.

Yea, I dont see how you non revup guys would lose power? Youd make more by going with a bigger cog ha.

34 and 28 is too much boost most likely for the stock block to handle. Some people have claimed itll run around 16 psi which I know would be too much power. Im looking for more around 13 max which is what a 2.87 and 32 & 28 cog will give.

I'll be running the 34/28 with the 3.12. I can't see me hitting 16 psi with that setup. I think I will be adding the GTM pulley as well.

I doubt 16 psi will be too much power. WIthout cams, I'm convinced that #'s like Sentry65 are not possible. And even he isnt seeing torque #'s that people would say break rods like the turbo guys. Run a stock exhaust and I bet you see 18psi but less power. How much power did the 34/28 combo make. That's the only thing you need to be concerned with.

i run 15.3 psi (32/28/2.87 non-revup) and only see 400 hp on DD. Maybe with cams and a bigger exhaust, I'd turn more of that manifold pressure into HP.

I'd run the 34/28 pulley on the dyno and see for sure.
