Congats on the build and +1 on choosing greddy and not APS....its always a good idea to have a few g's as back up cause something always comes up when you're trying to wrap everything up.

APS makes great kits as well. And yes have some money for mishaps.

LISTEN TO THIS WARNING i had no idea and i was there at 6am. my appt was at 8, so i thought an appt is an appt, but after returning 8 hours later and seeing that the car had not been on the dyno yet kinda made me mad. If i would have known a head of time this would have been avoided. so just make sure you know how long your going to be there. and also be prepared that if everything is not the way they like it you may have to fix it or pay to have it fixed. not bashing just warning from my own experiance.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone...

JonnyC i dont think that the Guages are loud at all.. in all honesty the fuel pump is louder.

Also with the exedy clutch i do get a slight vibration noise at around 2k which is acceptable to me as ive heard that issue before.

i am looking for 2 maps
1 with the standard wastegate spring
and one at about 8-8.5 lbs
looking hopefully to get 400 hp with the 8.5lbs of boost.

Also in terms of 11psi. Tial does not have adjustment screws like some bov's do so when you purchase a tial you actually pick which spring to use depending on what type of vaccuum the car pulls at idle.

FYI this is a stock block w/ approx 30k on the motor.
I am prepped for the big hit when the motor will need a refresh or when i get tired of the power. i understand that 400 hp is about the max i'd want to push out of the car especially on watered down 91 octane that we have in california.

Jet you make a good point, i think i will just stay there and if they dont get the car on the dyno at least at that time i can go to sleep.

I am glad that they do a visual of the car before tuning it.
i just hope that everything can get done within one night.

That is true - the pump sure is loud. But I didn't expect to hear the gear noise from the gauges though. Here's a short vid of when i first hooked them up. I guess having them outside of the gauge pod would allow me to hear them easier.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3IfMOtRIxo (btw, gauges were just set on the dash and not placed in the right spot, in case you think I'm an idiot)

so i finally made it down to gt-m
the trip to and from was not very fun...
#1 leaving at 1 am my underpanel decides to fall off and start scraping the road. So i go back home after a 1 hour detour...
Other than that the trip down was just fine.
Get to gtm can't sleep cause im sooo excited.
On the way home 30 minutes after leaving the shop i get pulled over. i am in far right lane doing 65.. I get popped for
#1 = modified exhaust
#2 = modified emissions
#3 = no front plate
Apparently i have to go to a state ref now...

Anyone have any suggestions? Help? Please? Pm me...

Anyways... Onto the numbers...

5 Psi waste gate spring pressure.
377 hp and 341 tq
7 psi tuned with utec boost controller
414 hp and 370 tq.

i am really pleased with the numbers... sam is a great guy and an awesome tuner.!!!!!
