Lawy'du tried to see if it would fit on a G 35. I told him ahead of time that it may or may not fit. Looks like it doesnt fit : ( Lawy'du, what do you plan to do now? Fab that version at all, or looking for a other version made?

Hey Jon, I sent you a PM this weekend about the intake I ordered - just seeing if you shipped it out yet.

Let me know.

Jon - sending you a PM.

I must say, you need to provide some communication. Still waiting on the coupling that was missing from the original package.

EDIT: received a response quickly, everything is good

Hey Johnny, Not sure if the coupling is the same size as mine but you can find 3 1/2" couplings in the plumbing department at Lowes.

I've been on the fence as to what I am going to do. I am now looking to sell my verion 2 intake and make my own that works on my G35. If anybody onces a version two intake PM me and I'll ship you mine. It's never been used and is brand new.

Since you bumped, I'll do an update.

Everything is working great. No change in boost levels, and should be keeping things cooler. I bought a K&N RE-0910 filter from Amazon and it worked out great. I did have to cut down the intake tube a bit in order to fit the big filter in there though. I also went with a 3" silicone sleeve and 3" t-bolt clamp (for the outside clamp, most likely won't fit on the blower) from http://www.intakehoses.com/.

The only thing I don't like is the crush-bent pipes. Other than that, it worked out great tapping it for a breather tube going to my driver's side valve cover.

That's really is the deal breaker for me. I know that it propbably won't affect the flow but, they are visible.

Yeah Luckily it's almost all hidden under the bumper, except for where it goes up into the engine bay. I've already had friends go "wtf?".

Is there a place to get something like this for the Z Vortech setup on-line yet?

Looking for something to tuck under the front bumper, above the intercooler...
