Thought about it but seeing that the Z is already too loud, I didn't want to make it worse.

Also, the last turbo car I had had open dumps and it really mask the sound of the turbo. The GT35 sounds sick once its up and running.

 

Forgot to ask: any random misfires? or CEL?

 

Check engine light is on, I expected that.

Misfires? when its at idle, every 8-10 seconds it will dip down, I believe that has to do with the utec and injectors. but over all, it runs very smooth.

 

Allright Jeff if you insist on bringing out the bike on our meets........i am calling you out on a nice little blast down i70 between you and myself.What do you say about that.....................just for fun.

 

Can this be fixed or is this something you're just going to have to deal with?

Reason I'm asking is in VA you won't pass emissions, or safety inspections for that matter, with a CEL. It's probably the main reason I haven't gone F/I.

Most FI G/Z will have the random misfire code. I get one every now and then (maybe once a month). Just go to Autozone or Advanceauto and you can have it cleared.

Yeh but the bung extender doesn't clear mis-fire codes, just O2@ sensor faults

So far it seems like the only method to rid oneself of misfire codes is an ECU reflash, GTM claims to have it covered.

With TTs , S1s, 650CCs, UTEC , and no CATs , no bung extender, I never had an O2 CEL . Jsst regular mis-fire codes.
