I had to cut my crash bar on the inside of it to make it fit. Had to notch out the outside where the InterCooler touches it to make it fit. But after doing that I was able to retain the crash bar and not have any issues with it rubbing on the intercooler. Powerlab didn't send me a template so had to do it by sight.

congratulations jeffie...absolutely one of the best threads on the forum....great job! your car is super clean....one of my favs.
i am thinking about getting this kit now, especially after reading this thread and the fact that my warranty has expired now.
do you think that the rear end gearing change is a must with this kit or can you get away with stock?
also, did you do any internal mods to the motor?

As far as the rear goes. I never had a before, however with colder weather both 1st and 2nd can easily get you sideways. with stock gearing I bet it would be fun, but a pain.
