been a while since i posted in the FI section, but i have a question. the guy that bought my G35 with my APS ST kit called the other day and said the car was smoking. Automatically i thought back to the dreaded APS smoking threads. I started trying to remember all the things it could have been. After testing the sump pump fuse and sump, both are ok, he told me that he changed the oil and filled it up to the middle of the indicator on the dipstick, DOH! i knew the problem, he overfilled it. So he drained ~3/4 qt. He called me today and said the smoking is much better BUT it smokes a little now on decel under vacuum, no smoking at all under load or boost, he also said it was when he was going downhill.

i keep reassuring him the pipes/exhaust are still coated in oil, but hes paranoid. I told him to clean the IC out real good and the exhaust. Im sure its too much oil and nothing motor related, maybe blown turbo seals. Any other things i havent thought about? TIA.
