Default Steering issue...

Had the car up in the air today to try and decipher the phenomenon that I was experiencing. When ever I turn right at 40mph+ or above on a sloped turn, I noticed the steering wheel sticking briefly then giving way. Anyway I noticed some of the metal being ground down on part of the steering rack where my APS 3.5 down pipes are.. Its not the bolt assemby...that was already grinded down..it was the rod itself. Anyway...upon hammering a slight dent in the pipe where shaved metal was and tightening everything back down...It totally fixed it...I guess there is a slight bit of travel in this area when the engine is under load.. Very frustrating but I'd thought I'd share since this has been a thorn in my side for some time cause I thought it was a alignment issue. Wondering if anyone else experienced this w/ large down pipes.

It didn't do this all time...just about a few months ago...I guess I'm chalking it up to a couple of loose bolts since there is only a few mm's of distance in this area.
