Hey,

I wanted to hear from members with the Turbonetics kit who are running open wastegates. I plan to have a custom dump made for the wastegate, because my car is just too quiet . I have only heard an open wastegate on my friends skyline, and it basically sounds like hell on earth. For those who have it, how loud is it? and it only screams under high boost correct?

How does the car run with the open wastegates, the same? better? worse? . Any video clips of an open wastegate would be great, and please let me know if there is anything else I should be worried about when putting this on the Turbonetics kit.

I personally think it sounds like ***. but to each his own. it may help with boost creep on the T-netics kits.

i like loudness, personally, i think it sounds mean and everyone should do it.

 

I like the way it sounds also.

It makes the noise only when you really get on the car, unlike having a loud exhaust that screams all the time.

My car is too quiet with the Nismo, I need to "louden" it.

Do you have a cat? Without a cat the Nismo is way too loud even with a turbo...
