How did you pay $1,700 USD for a E-Manage Ultimate? Doesn't it retail for like $599?

Any the reason the e-Manage Ultimate is inadequate is because it is a piggy-back style computer, all piggy back computers are inadequate IMO.

Utec takes full control of timing once in boost, so it is somewhat like a standalone for timing. Resolution sucks, but hey its cheap and great for 10PSI or less.

You guys should really invest in a good standalone, it will be the best mod in so many ways.

Do you consider the Haltech a stand-alone?

Ask your tuner if you are using one.

Yes it is a standalone, it has full control over timing and fuel, and plenty of resolution to do so.

Just because a EMS works in parallel with the OEM ECU to maintain creature comforts does not make it a piggy back.

My friend is running a MoTeC and still left the OEM ECU in their for the creature comforts, although he could take it out if he wanted too, just would create himself a bunch of work.

If I will need a map sensor for wither setup, I may try to just install the map sensor first and wait on the Haltech.

Thought about a single turbo for about a day but had too much invested in the SC setup to be willing to make the change.
